With its snowy days and cold weather, winter creates the perfect atmosphere for cozy movie nights! Below is a list of my favorite films to throw on during the -ber months, cuddled with a warm blanket and a steaming cup of hot chocolate:

  1. The Holiday: This rom-com takes place during the holiday season and follows the lives of two women who decide to swap houses (Los Angeles and London). The story is heartwarming, cozy, sweet, and perfect for a winter evening.
  2. Love Actually: A holiday film that covers the Christmas of many different people, whose lives are intertwined in unexpected ways. This is a classic winter watch for me!
  3. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe: A snowy adventure based on a classic series – this movie follows the adventures of four siblings in a winter landscape.
  4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: The fourth Harry Potter movie is perfect for this season with its wintery Yule Ball, icy landscapes, and captivating action-lacked scenes.
  5. Little Women: The film based on my favorite book by Louisa May Alcott – this story is timeless, following the love and lives of four sisters. It is heartwarming, cozy, and full of winter magic.
  6. Cloud 9: This Disney movie is full of fun with snowboarding, dogs, and a little bit of romance. Cloud 9 is a great movie to watch if you’re looking to immerse in the perfect winter atmosphere.
  7. Happy Feet: This is a sweet movie to warm your heart this winter with its snowy setting and dancing penguins!
  8. Office Christmas Party: This hilarious comedy entails a canceled office Christmas party that the employees decide to “uncancel” and throw themselves! I suggest this movie if you’re looking to laugh.
