Alright! November is upon us, and you know what that means:  Thanksgiving is almost here! But more importantly we are getting some of the most anticipated entertainment of the season starting with….. the new installment of Final Fantasy XV game!Â
Now this may not seem like your cup of tea, ladies, but trust me when I say it looks great. It has been in the works since 2006 when it was first announced. It’s original title was Final Fantasy Versus XIII but then they rebranded it into Final Fantasy XV. This installment honestly looks great. It is going to be on both Xbox One and Playstation 4, so no matter what system you own you will be able to get it on November 29th of this year. I am honestly excited for this game and that is because it looks different and it has this different feel about it than any other game out there. I think they are doing something unique because this is not only a game, but it has its own anime and movie that showcase these new characters. I am interested to see what the game portrays, so stay tune for that.
There is something else that I am excited for:Â Â Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life is coming to Netflix on November 25th!Â
As you eat leftover turkey, you will be able to see the Gilmore Girls back in action! This time they are older and going through difficult challenges in their lives. Emily (played Kelly Bishop) is trying to figure out how to continue life without her husband, Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) is possibly going through a career change, Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) looks like she is finally with Luke Danes (Scott Patterson) but is she happy with her life?Â
These are events that anyone at any age can relate to. These characters represent stages of life that individuals go through. We are in college and we are going through career changes all the time, switching majors, falling in love with what we are doing, finding multiple callings; sky is the limit for us. It would be nice if they touched on that with Rory and where she is at in her career/ life and is she happy with the outcome. Next we have Lorelai Gilmore, who seems like she is happy with Luke and she might be.  Last we saw Lorelai she owned her own Inn and it seemed to be blooming, but does she want more in life? Emily Gilmore represents the woman who is trying her hardest to move past a grim point of her life. After the untimely death of the actor Edward Herrmann aka Richard Gilmore, the revival was announced in October 2015, so the show paid tribute to him in a fitting way. Â
That is not all that is happening that weekend; Mona also hits theaters! If you can’t think of anything to do that weekend with family and friends those are just a few possibilities!
