If you are from ADMI you have seen him around but, what’s hiding behind that shy smile? Let’s find out!Â
Name: Daniel Matos González
Age: 20
Major: Finance
Relationship Status: Single
Hometown: Trujillo Alto
Favorite food: Pepperoni pizza from Juan Pan
1. HCUPR: What are some of your hobbies?
Daniel: I love surfing, there is nothing like being out in the ocean, under the sun, catching waves. When you surf, you get a worry free moment from everything and anything that is troubling you. You leave it all on the shore when you are paddling out.
2. HCUPR: At what age did you learn to surf?
Daniel: I started surfing just a few years back, when I was 17.
3. HCUPR: A little bird told me you are leaving to Spain in January, what places are you planning to visit?
Daniel: I’m really looking forward to visitng Ireland, Italy, Amsterdam, Prague and Ibiza. I have a friend who came back from doing a semester over there and he has filled my head with all of his crazy stories so I’m looking forward to having some of my own when I get back.
4. HCUPR: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Daniel: Hopefully with an MBA, running my family’s business as well as my own.
5. HCUPR: We know you are part of Positive Musa. How do you link this with your major?
Daniel: I have been able to use many of the things I have learned along my college career in order to keep Positive Musa moving forward. From what I’ve learned in my finance classes to the resources I have gotten in my marketing classes, there has been a use for it all.
6. HCUPR: Now, let’s talk about the ladies. What do you look for in a girl?
Daniel: I get attracted to girls who share my same mentality of never being bored and stuck in one place. I love going to new places and taking part in new life experiences so I really value a girl who I can do that with. She has to be easygoing and it would be a plus if she laughs at the dumb things I do.Â
7. HCUPR: What’s a deal breaker?
Daniel: If she’s an airhead, that just ruins for me. Also, she has to be able to laugh at life and not be strict or hard headed all the time.
8. HCUPR: Finally, what is your favorite beach in Puerto Rico?
Daniel: I’d have to say that my favorite beach in Puerto Rico is Palominito Island. The calmness in that little island and the turquoise water is breathtaking.
