The dreaded occasion has arrived, Valentine’s Day is near, and we need a reality check for the worst day of the year. Just kidding! I know many people out there who don’t love the day because of what it implies, like the usual “Oh, that’s a day for couples only,” and the occasional “I can’t believe I’m alone on Valentine’s Day” comments. Nevertheless, Valentine’s Day is an incredible day to realize that there’s so much to appreciate about yourself and others. Details like a gift, an action, or an amazing outfit can make your day great, or better. Here are a couple of clothing items that I found that will make you want to love love.

If you’re feeling the love around you, love the cottage-core aesthetic, and want to feel like you’re part of a dreamy novel, this dress is the pick. This is especially true if you always happen to mention that you’re part of the “feeling-like-an-old-soul” gang. This is perfect for the hopeless romantic. Whether you want to go out on a date or run an errand (because you can never not look your best), you will love this dress! It’s a dream.

You listen to Lana Del Rey, love feeling your utmost confident self, and/or red lipstick is your signature item for every outfit you wear. If you relate to any of the previous characteristics, this corset moment is certainly going to be your new best friend. It’s perfect for a night out on the town for a Galentine’s date or for a nice, dark, sultry night with red wine.

The priority with this piece would be to feel as cute as you can be, and to be a walking teddy bear while you do so! This sweater here is incredibly soft and makes you truly want to somewhat embrace the world, because the sweatshirt is embracing you. People love this one and you might too!

Maybe you’re not in love with the idea of wanting to celebrate Valentine’s Day. You don’t get the deal about the day and you don’t want to understand it, which is completely reasonable. You just want to chill, lay around free to do everyday things at home, and to embrace the silk. Maybe you like love and want to celebrate it in your own way, at home. If these things seemed somewhat relatable, I recommend this lollipop pajama set to you! It’s incredibly versatile and comfortable, which is exactly why I love this set.

These are the clothing items I found that will make you want to feel all the love, even if you don’t believe in Valentine’s Day. I do have to say, as a lover of this holiday, it doesn’t really matter who you are, what you wear, or what you plan to do on this day. Valentine’s Day is just a day, but personally, it commemorates the importance of caring for yourself and others. To care is a beautiful thing, to love is a beautiful thing, and this article is a reminder that so are you.
