A way you can help different causes and communities is by buying products from shops whose profits go directly towards supporting important causes, such as ending poverty and deforestation. There are many charities and nonprofits that collaborate with different stores and split the profits. This way, you can help artisans, stores, and different organizations with the purchase of different items. Here is a list of different stores who collaborate with either charities or nonprofits that help support different causes, from protecting the environment, to providing meals to children, amongst others.

 

Milk & Honey Books

Milk & Honey Books sell handmade, eco-friendly notebooks made from recycled materials. These notebooks feature a wide variety of aesthetics, so you’re sure to find one that fits your own. They also have customizable pages, meaning you can choose the interior paper style (yasss!). This company prides themselves on donating a percentage of their profits to bee farmers as a way to combat the recent decline in the bee population.

 

Pura Vida Bracelets

With each bracelet being handmade from  a different artisan from India, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and other counties, each purchase benefits artisans and charities. In Pura Vida Bracelets’ website, the bracelets are listed with the cause and where a percentage of the profit is going towards. The percentage donated to each cause varies per bracelet (which is listed in the details of the product). Just to name a few of the causes, some of the bracelets go towards organizations that advocate for suicide prevention awareness, baby loss awareness, saving pandas, conserving the ocean, amongst others.

 

ONEHOPE Wine

Drinking for a good cause? Sign us up! ONEHOPE Wines partners with different nonprofits, such as The Heart Foundation  and OCRFA, along with others, to help different causes with the purchase of their beverages. The cause you will help with your purchase will be listed in the details of the selected item. Their impact extends to helping 53,582 animals find a home, providing 2,032,964 meals to children in need, and planting 101,605 trees in a global reforestation project. John’s Crazy Socks

Can you believe that 5% of each purchase is donated to funding the Special Olympics? These unique socks have designs from different themes, from famous artists to different animals that there is sure to be one you’ll love. Also, there is a section in their webpage that features socks whose mission is to raise awareness for different causes. A larger percentage of each purchase is also donated to the selected causes.
