16 Things The Stoners of URHigh Do

It’s no secret that weed-culture is pop-culture on the URI Kingston campus, so much so that it has earned us the nickname “URHigh”.  I’m sure there’s recreational marijuana use on every college campus, but there are a few things that the stoners of URHigh do exclusively.

1.  Inconspicuously sitting in a circle on the quad

2.  Engineering bowls/bongs/sploofs out of random materials

3.  Passing joints/blunts/bowls while walking around campus

4.  Hot boxing cars in the Fine Arts Lot

5.  Going to class ripped

6.  Attending Hempfest

7.  Signing every “Legalize Weed” petition in the Union

8.  Saying “URHigh” with pride

9.  Keeping the local Smoke Shops in business

10.  Showing up to off-campus parties with “supplies”

11.  Arguing that their weed is the best weed

12.  Calling everyone else’s weed “dirt”

13.  Bragging about how much they spent on it

14.  Majoring in Horticulture 

15.  Advertising their habits via social media

16.  Sporting rasta laptop stickers
