With temperatures finally rising back up again, the need to be out in the sun is a must! You see more people out on walks & runs, kids playing on the playgrounds and lots of dogs around the neighborhood or beach. So, when you want to take in the nice weather, what do you do? Here are some of the classic yard games to play during the spring:

Kan-Jam

Two cans, one frisbee. The whole point is to get the frisbee into the slot on the can. This game has caused many people to become frustrated but it is all for the good of bragging rights.

Cornhole

The whole purpose is to get the bean bag on the board or in the hole. This game has caused many arguments, is the bean bag on the board or did it slide off?

Spikeball

This is personally my least favorite game. However, those who can get the force for the ball to continue hitting the net love this game.

Giant Jenga

Ever think regular sized Jenga was hard? Imagine big blocks built on the grass or cement? Yeah, this is definitely a strategic game that takes time to get used to but always ends with lots of laughs.

Wiffleball/Kickball

Both of these were fan-favorites when we were younger. Although no one liked being picked last, it didn’t matter when you won!

Ladder Toss

This game seems like it has been around the longest and it’s not going away anytime soon!

Next time you want to spend time in the sun or at a cookout, make sure you play one of these classic yard games!
