Just when you thought HC URI was made up of mostly media focused majors, we surprise you! Meet another one of our fabulous writers, Natalie Prisco. Natalie is a sophomore kinesiology major who hopes to one day work with amputee patients that have been in serious accidents. She wants to help them recover and learn how to walk/stand again. How amazing is THAT?
Along with being a diligent and organized student (I mean, you can’t study Kinesiology if you aren’t) and writing witty articles for HC URI, Natalie is an avid Target addict and a yoga enthusiast. You can catch her on the app, Down Dog after a long day of those rough science classes. What better way to decompress after all that anatomy talk?
Natalie is one of those chill, go-with-the-flow kind of people. She lives by the motto “it is what it is.” You won’t catch her stressing too much because she always has yoga and her love for dancing to chill her out.Â
Natalie would be perfectly content eating at the Cheesecake Factory for the rest of her life. Note to the Cheesecake Factory: Make sure to get her a banana ASAP because she loves a good banana with peanut butter, a fruit she often compares herself to. Who wouldn’t want to be a good source of potassium, am I right? Plus, she’s a fun gal, just like the bright yellow shade of bananas.
We hope you enjoyed learning a bit more about one of HC URI’s awesome writers! In fact, Natalie has had the top article of the week for our campus multiple times. Killin’ it! Check out Natalie’s articles here.
