1.     Why do you love URI?

I love how URI is literally in the perfect location…the beach. That’s why I chose it, because my backyard back in New York is the water. There’s nothing wrong with beach cruises on Sundays before a long week ahead. It clears my mind. I also love my sorority, Kappa Delta. It gave me the sisters I’ve always wanted and memories that I will always smile about.

2.     What made you want to become a member of Her Campus at URI?

I’m not really into writing without showing some sort of emotion or personal opinion. I like relating to people and making them feel like a friend understands them. As soon as Her Campus came to URI I had to hop on top of it. It’s such a great time and I hope everyone gets involved!

3.     What is a moment you are really proud of?

A moment I was really proud of was back in high school when I landed a spot in a group called, “Vocal Motion”(VM for short). VM is the hardest and most competitive dance and singing show choir group in my town. Auditions were very intense and took a huge amount of time to prepare myself physically. When I saw my name on the list words cannot describe the overwhelming and happiness I felt. I’m happy all the time so picture that times 5,000.

I can’t just chose one moment.

Another moment I’m proud of was when I was chosen to attend Kappa Delta’s National Convention in Orlando, FL. The fact that someone chose me to represent our chapter was very self-fullfilling. It was an amazing experience and I would do anything to go back.

4.     What is a guilty pleasure of yours?

I can eat Chipotle every day, and listen to throwbacks of Justin Bieber on replay.

5.     What do you want to be when you grow up?

The dream is to be the next Ryan Seacrest. I have a passion for telling people newsworthy stories and what the people deserve to hear. Hopefully one day you’ll see me on E! News, hitting the red carpet.

6.     What’s some advice you would give to a freshman attending URI?

Never take a day for granted. As clichĂ© as it sounds, you have to–HAVE TO–take advantage of every moment. It goes by fast.

7.     What’s your favorite quote?

“Do something today your future self will thank you for.”

8.     What is something interesting you want people to know about you?

I can talk inside my mouth; it’s weird.
