Twas’ the night before Greek Week, when all through the house,

Not a sister was stirring; not to find a new blouse

The champagne bottles were lined up with care,

In hopes that opening day soon would  be there;

The frats bros were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of Greek Week Points danced in their heads,

And the house mother in her robe, and I in my face mask,

Had just settled our heads for a pre Greek Week nap-

When the sun arose I heard such a chatter,

I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

Away to the chapter room I flew like a flash,

I jumped on my sisters, and threw, in the air, the former Mrs. Greek Week sash.

The sun shone to let all of Greek life know,

That Greek Week was here–we’re ready to go;

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

It’s champange breakfast, the best day of the year,

With a sober driver, so lively and slick,

There’s no need to panic, we’d be there so quick.

All pairings were together, with celebration they came,

And Frats whistled, and shouted, and call’d them by name:

“Now! KD, now! DZ! now! SK, and Phi Sig,

“On! SDT, on! AZD, on! ADiPi, APhi and ChiO;

On the top of the porch, hung to the wall

Our greek week banner was standing so tall

As we headed to the field and united with letters,

It is finally said we can take off our sweaters;

So up went the obstacles, wore our letters with pride

We battled to the end, finishing with stride.

And then in a whistling, I heard in the distance

The prancing and cheering, we won at that instant

As I drew in my head, and was turning around,

My big was there letting me know she was proud:

We had won the event, Frat boys threw us in the air,

And we danced and we shouted without any care;

All smiles on our faces, and cheers of great victory,

Which shook all of Frat Cirlce, the winners were us, there was no mystery:

We were tired, hung over, but the day was not wasted.

Greek Week 2016, history was officially dated;

A wink of some eyes had girls twisting their heads

Soon gave us to know we had nothing to dread.

Cheers to Greek Week, the best week of the year,

We hate to see it come to an end, as we pack away gear:

We know it’ll come again soon, Greek life always has it in sight-

Happy Greek Week to all, and to all a good night!!!!
