The Ups and Downs of College Classes as Told by Rebel Wilson

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at URI chapter.

For most of us, just getting out of bed and making it to class is a daily struggle. Once we get to class, our day can either get better or worse. No matter what, there are always ups and downs of class in general. Rebel Wilson depicts our feelings during class pretty well.

Ups:

When your professor offers extra credit:

Actually having friends in the class where a group project is assigned:

When a class gets canceled:

Better yet, when you have a snow day:

Getting anywhere above a C on an exam:

Passing the class you skipped regularly:

When your friend saves you a seat:

When the exam is scaled (at professor) :

When you don’t have to take the final:

Downs:

When your caught “checking” with your friends paper during an exam:

When your professor decides to lecture the ENTIRE class period:

When the professor calls on you unexpectedly:

When someone walking by knocks into your bag:

When anyone tries to talk to you early in the morning:

When there are no assigned seats, but someone is sitting in YOUR seat:

Checking your phone in class and finding nothing:

When the know-it-all of the class just won’t stop:

When the professor tries to make you “mingle” on the first day:

The whole college experience has its ups and downs, and as bad as it may seem, just remember:

college is the best 4 years of your life; so enjoy it!
