3 Interesting Places To Visit These Holidays!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USC (AU) chapter.
Everyone knows that the Sunshine Coast is full of lovely little towns, sunny beaches and shops galore! And maybe everyone already knows about Maleny too, but I certainly didn’t.

Maleny

The other day I happened to be travelling up to Maleny for a concert, the location of which is best described as on top of a very big hill (in the Hinterlands).

I have to say, the views were absolutely, incredibly spectacular. Rolling hills full of fields and trees and ponds and green grass. Cows, horses and sheep grazing contently under a deep blue sky on a sunny day. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t been there before. Even the main street of the town was a delight, with beautiful old buildings everywhere. I was so glad I’d brought my camera, and I have to say I could have stayed there for days taking photos.

Yes, the drive took a while from where I live, but it was completely worth it. Even the school had the most breathtaking view from the front gate.

If you need something to do these uni holidays, I completely recommend heading up to Maleny and spending the day there. Take your camera. And maybe a book. And maybe some friends.

If you fly through Maleny pretty quickly, the equally beautiful Montville and Mapleton are close by!

Enjoy your holidays!
