Don’t Sweat It – 5 Easy Ways to Exercise

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USC (AU) chapter.

You don’t have to do marathons every weekend or go to the gym day and night to stay fit.

There’s so many easy ways to exercise!

Click on the photo above for more information.

1. Walk your dog.
Campus Correspondent’s puppy, Misty Sky Maastricht – such a cutie!

If you have a dog at home, why not take half an hour out of your day to take him/her for a walk? We know from personal experience that your dog will be forever grateful to you, and you’ll get a good workout in the process!

2. Don’t drive when you can walk.

If you’re just heading down the street, or even a couple of blocks away, why not walk there instead of driving? You’ll exercise and save fuel at the same time!

3. Have a bike? Go for a ride!
Remember that bike that’s all lonely sitting in the garage? Why not take it out for a spin? It’s good exercise while you explore the neighbourhood!

4. Visit the local pool.

Why not visit the local swimming pool every day or two and do some laps? Everyone loves going for a swim! if it’s a hot day, you’ll get to cool down as well!

5. Fit a workout in where possible.

It’s so easy to sneak in a workout during the day. Go for a bike ride when you wake up in the morning, take a quick walk in your lunch break, jump on the treadmill while dinner is cooking or do some push-ups in front of the TV!
It’s so easy to exercise!

And remember to have fun!
