The most wonderful time of year is coming up and instead of enjoying it, I’m stressing out over gifts. Shopping for my parents is always difficult, especially shopping for my dad. But, over the years I’ve been able to figure out what really makes them smile and hopefully these ideas can help you out too.
I’ve compiled a list of gifts ranging from health/fitness and electronics to travel and experiences. Someone has to be the best gift-giver in your family!
- WORKOUT SETS
-
-
Gymshark always has good sales and a gift my dad always appreciates is his workout sets, for tennis of course… what dad doesn’t enjoy tennis or even golf. My mom LOVES flowy sets so loose-fitting high neck tops and shorts from Lululemon, and Nike are always a favorite. You can never go wrong with workout sets, they could even use them for leisure, helping you move into your apartment, or a pilates class.
- TRAVEL BACKPACK
-
-
If your family loves to take road trips, weekend trips or even month-long trips, a good travel backpack is always a good idea. Some favorites are from Calpak, they have a laptop sleeve and a water bottle holder, Baboon to the Moon is a great choice that has no pockets on the exterior, Carhartt and Northface you can never go wrong with, and of course Amazon! Some top choices from Amazon would be Vancropak and Matein!
- BEACH ESSENTIALS
-
-
Living on the West coast you always have to be beach ready. My parents always appreciate getting new beach towels, hats, sunscreens, tumblers and coolers! You can definitely get any of these things from Target, Amazon, and even Costco. But some portable coolers that I really love are from YETI, IGLOO, and RTIC. For sunscreen, make sure you wear reef/beach safe sunscreen. Some of my favorites are All Good Sport Sunscreen and Goddess Garden Everyday Mineral Sunscreen. For tumblers, YETI, Stanley, and Hydroflask!
- COUPLES GIFT
-
-
My parents always love gifts they can do together. Some good options would be surprising them with a couples massage, movie theater gift card or even a spa gift package. Definitely look around your area to see if there are any Turkish baths or sensory deprivation tanks!

Trying to perfect your at home office can sometimes be hard so gifts such as laptop desk stands, headphones, phone stands, mouses & keyboards are essential. My parents always have headphones on and sometimes Airpods can get uncomfortable. Some good options for over ear headphones would be Sony, Beats, Bose, and JBL. Any other essentials I usually buy from Target or Amazon!
I can’t wait to see their faces when they open their gifts! Hopefully this gift guide helps you out this holiday season!
