6 Trends that Never Go Out of Style

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USF chapter.

1.       Bomber jacket

Bomber jackets are here to stay. They were initially created for military pilots beginning in World War I. These jackets have maintained their edginess through the years. They can be worn with jeans, shorts, dresses, sneakers, heels, pretty much anything. If you ever need to add extra flare to your outfit, bomber jackets are the way to go.

2.       Aviator sunglasses

These sunglasses have been around since 1936. They were originally made for pilots to protect their eyes but gradually became more and more popular with other types of consumers. Aviators don’t have to only be worn when it’s sunny outside; they are so cute that it can be a nice accessory piece to your everyday look.

3.       Little black dress

The LBD can be any woman’s go-to style piece. The little black dress has been around for decades and is considered a staple piece in many wardrobes. A little black dress can make any outfit more sleek and sophisticated. The best part about this piece is that it can be dressed up or down depending on your style.

4.       Plain T-shirt

You can never go wrong with a plain t-shirt. Plain t-shirts are one of the most basic, yet essential wardrobe pieces. They pretty much go with everything. Plain t-shirts are not just for lazy days, though. Adding some heels or dark wash jeans can go a long way with these tees.

5.       Pointed heel

Pointed heels are universally fashionable. Investing in a pair of these can save a lot of headache later when you’re getting ready. Pointed heels add style and classiness to any outfit. Whether you’re going to a job interview, or getting lunch with friends, these shoes will come in handy.

6.       Flannels

Flannel is one of those classic, timeless pieces that almost everyone owns. This piece is perfect when you want to be comfortable, yet presentable. Flannels can be worn open, buttoned up, and lately, around the waist. They add a hip and grungy feel to any simple outfit.
