Why pay hundreds of dollars to go to a concert, especially in today’s day and age when any song you want to hear can instantly be streamed on Apple Music, Spotify or YouTube? The atmosphere a concert offers is unlike anything you can ever get over the internet (and trust me, the price is well worth it).

There is absolutely no comparison to being at a concert versus any other musical experience via television, radio or any other platform. I just attended my first concert at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Amazing is the only word I can use to describe it. If you have never experienced a concert or you may be seeing concert soon, let me break down for you what you may experience.
I went to Amalie Arena for the first time not too long ago, and I was totally excited! The show started off with an up and coming artist known as Lennon Stella. To be honest, when she came on stage, I had no idea who she was. Safe to say now I have her songs on repeat and can’t get enough of them. She had the voice of an angel, and her aura puts you in a good mood. The whole group I was with including myself was truly shocked because she was so great!

Following Lennon Stella came Five Seconds of Summer, another band who I had never heard of before. Again, as thousands of teenage girls jumped and screamed, they took my breath away and had me jumping and screaming too. (The band members’ Australian accents were definitely a plus to hear.)

Last but definitely not least was the Chainsmokers. When I say all eyes, I mean all eyes were on them. The performance was flawless from start to finish. The first song was a collaboration with Lennon Stella, followed by a collaboration with 5SOS, and the whole thing wrapped with three men on motorcycles in a closed ball doing circles around two females standing in the middle.
No bit of writing can do that performance justice, but I figured I would share in hopes others will try out this great adventure and maybe see the Chainsmokers too. (You won’t regret it, thank me later!)
