How to Get Involved at USF

Looking for a way to get involved this semester? It may not be too late. There are several ways for you to get involved on campus and still keep up with school work and social lives. Sororities are not the only option, collegiettes™! There are plenty of opportunities for other interests, like travel or even volunteer work. Here are a list of some organizations to look into:

Advertising Club – If you are interested in advertising, this is a platform where students can interact with professors, fellow students and industry professionals for mentorship and guidance. Members are connected with the Tampa Bay advertising community through guest speakers, AD2 Tampa Bay and other industry events.

Biology Club –  If you have a love for biology, this club provides information and resources to undergraduate students with an interest in the field of biology with opportunities to further explore and pursue their curiosity. The Biology club encouragea a positive interest and literacy of biology to the community.

Beef Studs – If you have a passion for spirit, this club focuses on spreading the school spirit of USF and all of its athletic programs whether on-campus, locally or nationally.

Chefs at USF – Who doesn’t love food? The purpose of this group is to provide the USF community with information and service relating to cooking. They meet bi-weekly and attract all types of majors.

Photography Club – Got a fancy camera or just love taking pictures? This club enriches the USF community using the creativity of its student body by showcasing talents found within the matrix of a camera. Students will have the opportunity to learn the functions, purpose, and discover the reasons why photography is such an amazing hobby or profession.

The Fashion Executives – This fashion group provides the necessary resources for those interested in the fashion industry. The Fashion Executives work on maximizing student potential and success in the field of fashion by enhancing their educational experience through service, education, health and professional development.

Arts in Health – This club combines health and art! By joining this organization you can improve the health of our communities through various creative avenues of art. This includes painting, drawing, poetry, music, photography, dance, and more. Help out the community in a crafty way.

Dance.Film.Revolution – This awesome organization focuses on the development and execution of the Dance Shorts Student Film Festival. Sponsored by the University of South Florida College of the Arts, the festival will spotlight today’s generation of up and coming “techno-choreographers”. Undergraduate and graduate students from all over the country can join this organization.
