Food Network has always been home to many of my favorite shows. I mean who does not love watching baking competitions or learning delicious recipes for cooking shows. Food Network has aired a new show called Buddy vs. Duff, a show that will be the epic baking battle between two well-known cake experts.
Keep reading to learn more about the two bakers and the format of the show.

Duff Goldman is best known for his show, Ace of Cakes. After the growth of his show, he has opened another branch of his bakery, Charm City Cakes. The unique aspect of Duff is that he is not just a baker and cook. He is a graffiti artist and metal sculptor. He uses his incredible artistic skills throughout all his cakes. Now you can find Duff as a judge on the Food Network shows, Holiday Baking Championship, Spring Baking Championship, and Kids Baking Championship as well as in his various cookbooks (Food Network website – Duff’s Bio).

You may know Buddy Valastro from his business Carlos Bake Shop. Other than being known as a famous baker, he does make his family Italian Recipes in his restaurant, Buddy V’s located in Las Vegas. He is known for his large and over the top cakes which had led him to receiving national recognition through T.V. shows, media outlets, and many publications (Carlo’s Bake Shop website).

Duff and Buddy are both icons in the baking industry, yet very different. Duff takes his time and pays attention to detail whereas Buddy always is in the mindset of the bigger and grander, the better.
These two cake experts will go head to head in a six-week competition. Each episode features two challenges, one is a Bake–Off and the other being a Cake–Off.
Tune in Sunday nights at 9|8c on Food Network to watch Buddy vs. Duff.
