Meet USF sophomore, Sierra Dean!
Her Campus: Where are you from and do you like your hometown?
Sierra Dean: “I’m from Dade City, it is a small town and I live on a farm. I like it, but it does get kind of lonely sometimes because there is almost nothing there.”
HC: What brought you to USF?
SD: “It was still close to home but not too close, and I completely fell in love with the campus.”
HC: What are you majoring in? Do you have a minor?
SD: “Mathematics, and a minor in Economics.”
HC: What’s your absolute favorite thing to do on your down time?
SD: “I like to keep myself busy, but when I do have down time I like to spend time with my sisters and play with my cat.”
HC: What quote do you live by?
SD: “You only live once but if you do it right, then once is enough.”
HC: Who’s your role model?
SD: “Definitely my mom – she has always been an inspiration for me. I want to be just like her one day.”
HC: What advice do you have for incoming freshman?
SD: “Don’t be afraid to really put yourself out there and get involved on campus, but also make sure that you are focusing on your academics. It is all about balance.”
