I may have only been in Tampa for a few months, but I have managed to find a few cheap bookstores that I absolutely love and wish to share with other book lovers.

There is a warehouse full of rescued books in Pinellas Park, Florida, called The Book Rescuers. This bookstore has over 100,000 books in a wide variety of genres. They have everything from romance to poems, to children’s books, and even cookbooks. They all range in age, some very old. And even better, they are all priced between $1-$5! What a steal, am I right? My visit to this bookstore was very enjoyable, the employees were very nice, and I got a ton of books. All the employees ask is that they go to homes that will protect and respect the value of these wonderful books.

Another lovely bookstore that I would recommend is Mojo Books and Records. As suggested by the name, this bookstore contains books and records, but they are also a coffee shop. So, if you are looking for a peaceful place to grab a coffee, sit, relax, and read, then this is the perfect place to visit. I have found many different books in this store that I have loved. The prices are relatively cheap for paper books, and I have found some in there as low as $4. They have an extensive catalog of artists and albums available on 45s, vinyl, CDs, cassettes, and other common formats . If you are looking for a cheap bookstore near campus, I recommend this one.

Hello! My name is Rose Long and I am originally from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. In high school, I participated in cheerleading, dance, Mini-THON, and many other extracurricular activities. Graduating from Bishop McCort High School, I moved to Tampa, Florida this year to attend the University of South Florida. Right now, I am in the pre-architecture program, but I hope to get into the graduate program after my sophomore year. If I do get into the program, I will be in college for a total of six years and graduate with my master's degree. A few of my personal interests include reading, cheerleading, traveling, baking, fun earrings, drawing, volunteering, and more. My craziest pair of earrings are either my sharks or my dinosaurs. In the future, I want to explore other interests such as animal conservation or gardening.
