Farewell Letter To Our CC & President Alana Long

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USFSP chapter.

Dear Alana,

We just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much you mean to us. You have been an outstanding President and Campus Correspondent of this chapter of Her Campus for the past year and a half. This club would truly not be here today if it weren’t for you. You carried this organization through a period of time when it was struggling to survive. You brought it back with full force and made it not only survive, but thrive. You encouraged us to grow and work together, and as a result, you have contributed to some of the most valuable friendships.

You are dedicated, driven, poised, wise, mature beyond your years, fashionable, beautiful…the list goes on and on. You’re an inspiration to others; you have inspired all of us to become better writers, leaders, and women.

Let us take a moment to reflect back to you how instrumental you have been in this Her Campus chapter and how grateful we are to have had you as our President. We talked about our favorite memories with you, what we love the most about you, and how we would describe you to others. We hope you like the video.

We wish you nothing but the best for the future and we know you are going to do some amazing things. We love you and are so proud of you.

With lots of love,

The USFSP Her Campus Team

Hi, I'm Kelli Carmack! I am a senior Mass Communications Major at USFSP with a minor in Art History. I'm currently the Co-President of Her Campus at USFSP, a leadership role I hold dear to my heart. I have some pretty big dreams for myself. I plan on getting into the broadcast journalism and/or entertainment field. I hope to one day be the next Barbara Walters, sitting down with prominent people and asking them those hard-hitting questions. While I'm not busy focusing on my career goals, I enjoy going to the beach, painting and reading!
A Mass Communications Major with a passion for inspiring others.Â
