What’s the one thing in our life that makes our butt look bigger, legs look longer, and gives us a confident glow? Heels! They compliment our body and completes our outfit…what is there to not love? Well, after an eventful day, heels tend to be our worst enemy. Our feet cramp up, get sore, and form blisters from the throbbing pain (ew). We normally have to take a few days off from heels to “cure” our feet before feeling sexy again. Have no fear, remedies are here! Here are a few tips to make your healing process a quick and effective one!

Tip #1: M&M (massage and moisture!)

Applying lotion and massaging the sore areas on your feet can tremendously help with healing. The balls and heel receive the most impact and can form dry patches on your skin if you don’t lotion them regularly. Your skin can possibly crack from dryness, form calluses and corn, and (again) get blisters! Avoid all of that by simply rubbing lotion on your feet and giving them a soothing massage after a day in heels. Your feet will thank you.

Tip #2: Downward-facing dog

Heels can make your calf muscle become tight and you could get hammer toes. Stretching, specifically throughyoga, can help with both! The downward-facing dog and the Virasana-Hero Pose are the most beneficial. If you’re not a yoga person, there are other stretches that can help too! Bending down to touch your toes is a classic leg/foot stretch. You could also sit at the edge of your bed with your legs out straight, flex your feet, and make them point to the ceiling; grab your toes if you can, it’ll enhance the stretch.

Tip #3: Soak those aching toes!

If you’ve ever had sore muscles, you’ve probably been told to run a hot bath and soak your body in Epsom salts. This is also perfect for easing the muscles in your feet after a day in killer heels. The natural minerals in Epsom salts are absorbed by your skin and helps with building and repairing tissues, which make your feet feel good as new the next day! The warm water also opens up pores and lets your skin relax… I knew there was a reason I love baths!

So, there you have it. These three simple tips can get you walking in your sexy heels in no time! Never suffer from pain again!
