On the USFSP campus, Her Campus has a team of writers with a multitude of interests. Some of our writers dabble in things such as poetry and fiction – writers like our very own Hayley Garron.

“Outside of Her Campus, I write my own blog. I am currently preparing for National Novel Writing Month (November),” she said.
Â
Hayley is a sophomore majoring in Business with a focus in management. She chose to attend USFSP due to its beautiful location and close proximity to her family.
Â
“I’m a city girl; it’s close enough to home that I could go home and come back whenever I want, but it gives me enough space from my family to grow and learn how to be independent on my own,” she said.
Â
In regards to writing for Her Campus, Hayley expressed her appreciation for the online magazine’s mission.
Â
“It’s purpose is a good one for the life of college girls,” she said.
Â
What Hayley brings to college girls here around the bay is a love for music. Her articles focus on creative musicians and local concerts she attends. If she is not writing, she is rocking out at a concert. Â Her passion for the written word and her passion for music – Well, she plans on them going hand in hand.
Â
“Writing has always been a part of my life and will continue to be, hopefully following me into the music industry,” she said.
Â
As a writer, Ms. Garron draws inspiration from her traveling and social interactions. She hopes to continue traveling to keep that inspiration for her potential use.
Â
“I aspire to publish at least one novel and one nonfiction book in my life,” she said.
Â
Her Campus looks forwards to seeing Hayley’s work in the future, both in journalism and in novel writing.
