Are your Valentine’s Day plans rapidly approaching, and you *still* have no clue what to get your bestie? Don’t worry, you still have a few more days to prepare for Galentine’s Day brunch, and I’ve spent hours researching (looking through my own wish list) the best gifts to get your girls this holiday. Gift shopping is hard, especially when she buys everything she wants for herself. Between the Sephora gift cards and Amazon certificates from the holidays, it’s been stressing me out trying to find something meaningful and enjoyable, yet useful. But don’t fret, this gift guide will help make your Galentine’s holiday the best one yet.

Room spray
Who doesn’t love scents? Room sprays are perfect to spray right before bed on your sheets, or for the girlies living in on campus housing with a no open flame policy. Across the market, there is a plethora of scents to choose from, some with certain aromatherapeutic and calming properties. Bath & Body Works offer so many fun scents and are currently running a 2 for $16 sale! For these sprays, they offer their regular blend or some essential oil based scents for a cleaner, more natural spray. If you are looking for something a little higher quality, Homesick has a lot of great, long-lasting scents. Try this one with notes of Bergamot and Sandalwood.
Perfumes
Perfumes are one of my all-time favorite gifts to get and to give to my friends. They are timeless, useful, and are so fun to look back on to remember a certain time of your life. Mixbar perfumes are fantastic affordable options that are great as a standalone perfume or to layer with others. For their low prices, their long-lasting scents are perfect for an everyday scent. Mixbar also has their body sprays for a lighter mist, perfect for before the gym or running some errands. Dossier is a tad pricier but has a variety of options that are created as dupes for specific perfumes, like Black Opium from YSL. Like room sprays, candles are a great gift for those who love a good scent paired with a self-care day. If you are stopping into Bath & Body Works or Target, check out their candle section for some affordable options. The options for scents are endless, with a variety of floral, woody, savory, or seasonal scents. Among the shelves, you can browse for soy, coconut, or a regular blend, or different kinds of wicks. Homesick also offers high-quality alternatives for memorable candles representing specific experiences, like Beach Cottage, with a salty ocean air smell reminiscent of time spent on the beach, or Love Letters, the smell of old saved photographs and sweet, heartfelt notes from a loved one.

A simple silver or gold necklace is adorable and meaningful, especially coming from your bestie. Personally, I have had the same gold chain for years just because it has grown to be so special to me, receiving it all those years ago from my mother. You can find a variety of chains and charms on Etsy for their initial or name. If you’re willing to splurge, Rellery has some really great options as well. Their charm selection includes birth month flowers, initials, and other cute charms that are perfect for stacking and creating a very individualized gift.

Matching PJ sets are in! Elevate the vibes of your Galentine’s nightly routine with some added flair of some cute pajamas. There really is nothing quite like going to bed feeling all dolled up. For the ultimate self-care night vibes, Colsie at Target just released their Valentine’s Day collection, with a variety of long or short-sleeved options to choose from. Nordstrom Rack online or in stores has both some affordable and higher priced options for sweet sets for your valentine’s sweet dreams.

Valentine’s Day brunch mimosas hit a little too hard? Feeling dehydrated after the antics of celebrating the holiday? Other than a breakfast at IHop, Electrolytes are always my go to for getting back on my feet the next day. LMNT electrolytes, based out of my hometown, are the perfect option for rehydration and recovery, with a variety of flavors and clean ingredients. To start your bestie off, try their variety pack on Amazon, with flavors of watermelon salt, orange salt, citrus salt, and raspberry salt.
Sephora or Ulta gift sets
Sephora and Ulta have always been my ride or die for trying out new skincare or makeup products. Recently, I have been loving their gift sets, filled with all sorts of brand name goodies! The small product size allows me to try out the product without buying the full size for the full price or wasting a product I know I likely would not buy again. Another option for some skincare or makeup gifts could be creating your own gift set or basket by going to your local Sephora or Ulta. Their “minis” section, usually located near their checkout line, has a bunch of options for trendy skincare and makeup, name brands , or store brands!

Dried flowers are the perfect, long-lasting gift that really ties in with the vibe of a candle-lit, fresh-faced self-care night. If taken care of correctly, they can last for years and become a really special decoration for your friends. They are very affordable and very easy to make yourself: all you have to do is buy or pick a bouquet of flowers, hang them upside down for two to three weeks in a dark, well-ventilated room, and set them up in a cute vase or jar!
Heart mug set
Over the years, Etsy has become my go to for holiday or birthday gifts, with so many creative and handmade crafts, sets, and items from so many different independent sellers across the world. There are so many cute ceramic options for vases and jars, but I absolutely fell in love with these heart shaped mugs. If your gal is into something specific, try searching for it with “mug” and see what comes up – I guarantee you there is something on there for everyone, no matter how niche. These are perfect for pairing with a box of your bestie’s favorite tea or coffee.
Jellycats
Jellycats have completely taken over my social media feeds, but I am not mad about it. Over the last year, I have carefully selected a new Jellycat for each one of my friends comparable to their personalities to give them for their birthdays and other holidays, and from their reviews, it’s a fan favorite gift. A Jellycat stuffie would make the ideal pal for those cozy nights snuggled up in bed after a long, relaxing night of self-care.
