Why you Should Try “Flat Tummy Tea”

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USFSP chapter.

We all know that bikini season is upon us, and it came pretty quickly this year. For the past months, all I have heard about on social media (mainly Instagram) are these different brands of “teatox” that are supposed to reduce bloating and help allude to a slimmer body.

Because of my curiosity, I researched the different brands of “teatox,” read a handful of reviews, and decided to experiment with one myself.

The one I chose is called “Flat Tummy Tea”. You have two options of detox lengths to choose from, two weeks or four weeks. For the amount of tea you receive, the price isn’t too bad, and there are constant sales, always around 25% off your purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it shipped and arrived, and fell in love with the little zipper pouch it came in, which I now use as an on-the-go makeup bag. The instructions to make it and consume it are quite simple: There’s an “activate” tea that you make every morning, and then a “cleanse” tea that you make and drink to cleanse your system every other night.

After four weeks of the “teatox” and my regular workouts, I was surprised when I noticed that the results of following the directions did indeed lead to a slimmer me. Something else I noticed during this time was how energized I felt when I consistently had a proper night’s sleep, 60 to 90 minutes of exercise a day, eating clean, and doing the “Flat Tummy Teatox”.

I lost  seven pounds, in addition to reducing my pant size from a 12 to 10, just in four weeks!

I know this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I wanted to write this article to prove one thing: If there is something that you want to change, and you work hard enough, you will succeed! â˜ș
