With 2017 just beginning, are you over 21 and looking for a new and exciting venue to explore on the weekends? Park City Live is a thriving music venue that provides the ideal amount of ambience and excitement of Main Street’s live music and nightlife scene in Park City, Utah. Patrons of Park City Live can enjoy various accessible and well-stocked bars, exceptional audio and visual effects, and the option of exclusivity in the VIP mezzanine section. Along with year round shows, Park City Live also hosts a number of Film Festival events for the annual Sundance Film Festival that always exceed expectations. On January 6, Party Favor made his way back to his hometown of Park City and blew everyone away with his beats, vibe, and possibly confetti!
If you are thinking, “What in the world is a ‘party favor’?”, Party Favor himself is one of the fastest rising names in EDM. His edgy style helped gear towards the festival trap genre, where he thrills audiences and turns heads around the world. Dylan Ragland, starter of Party Favor, has made groundbreaking remixes with artists such as Dillon Francis, Diplo, Flosstradamus and Major Lazer. Want to know more about his show this past Friday, keep on reading!
Friday’s opening artist for the ultimate was Georgia Mayne, aka. ATL, a local DJ/Producer who grew up on the streets of Georgia. Ever since he started listening to 808’s rattle in his neighborhood, he has been hooked with this genre! He played his DubStep-Trap set throughout the night and it definitely got the crowd going. ATL was definitely a great starter before Party Favor would take over the stage and put the audience in a trance. Some of his songs in his set included “Moshpit” and “Prison Riot” by Flosstradamus, and your usual trap songs. I would definitely love to go to ATL’s next headlining concert. He got me hooked!
Next up on stage was the one and only, Party Favor! The set that he provided was absolutely incredible; my friends and I were dead set in the front and we were head banging the night away! He started off his set with “Purple Lamborghini” by Skrillex to get everyone in a party trap mood and it for sure worked. The headlining songs for sure stuck in my head, especially his hit record “Bap U” and “Booty Loose”. He included his newest release, Party and Destroy EP, which included collaborations with Dillon Francis, Gucci Mane, Sean Kingston, Rich the Kid, just to name a few. Many of his original songs were included in his set, and the bass made the crowd go wild! Basically, every song you usually hear at your usual rave or EDM show was played throughout the night and it made the audience go into rave mode that’s for sure!
Overall, this was one of the best shows I have ever gone to in my life. If you ever get a chance to see Party Favor live, I suggest that you do it! He is such a good performer live and I cannot find any other DJ that does it so well! You also need to check out Park City Live, because it is a well-set venue in a great location! Drinks are a little overpriced and it can get a little unorganized in there sometimes, but what night club isn’t? Go enjoy!
