Spring and Summer are the seasons where we typically end up rushing around trying to enjoy the nice weather, but this can also mean that we don’t often take the time to make healthy and delicious meals. Here are five delicious smoothie recipes you can make even when you are on-the-go!

1. Strawberry Kiwi Delight

Ingredients: 2 kiwis, 1 cup frozen strawberries, 6oz low-fat strawberry yogurt, ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
Instructions (makes four):

Peel the kiwis and cut them into chunks.

Place kiwi chunks, strawberries, yogurt, almond milk, and honey into the blender

Cover the Blender and blend on high until smooth.

2. Dairy-Free Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients: 2 cups strawberries, 1 banana, ÂĽ cup dairy-free milk unsweetened, 2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
Instructions (makes 2 glasses):

Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth

3. Lean & Green Smoothie

Ingredients: 2 cups spinach, 2 cups water, 1 cup mango, 1 cup pineapple, 2 frozen bananas
Instructions:

Pack the spinach tightly in measuring cup and toss into blender

Add water and blend with spinach until all leafy chunks are gone

Add pineapple, mango, and bananas and blend until smooth

4. Bananapple Smoothie

Ingredients: 1 medium apple (Gala prefered), ½ large banana (peeled and chopped), ½ cup orange juice or unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 2 ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:

Peel the apple and cut into large pieces

Pour the orange juice or almond milk into the blender

Add apple, banana, and ice cubes

Blend until smooth and pour into a glass to enjoy

Ingredients: 5 cups cubed seedless watermelon, 1 tablespoon sugar (optional), the juice of 1 lime, 1 cup of ice
