To the outside world, maybe you act like you’ve gotten over Disney Princesses. It’s okay – I know you haven’t. Over the summer, the company I interned for took the interns to Disney. I went to Magic Kingdom with four other girls. I’m not going to tell you how long we waited in line to get our pictures with Belle and Jasmine.
Anyway, since we’re all princess-lovers at heart, here’s a bit of exciting news: The Disney princesses have grown up with you. Check out these three websites and next thing you know, you’ll be belting “Part of Your World” without caring who’s listening.
Okay, so maybe you’re not actually engaged. And even if you were, you probably wouldn’t want to get married in a dress modeled after a cartoon mermaid. But that doesn’t mean you can’t peruse, right? While you’re at it, take a peek at the Disney Princess jewels, bridesmaid dresses, and, get ready for it… glass slipper collection.
2. Sephora’s Cinderella Collection
Part of Sephora’s Reigning Beauties limited-edition collections, the Cinderella collection features “So This is Love…” perfume and “Midnight Hour” eye shadow. Forget the cheesy names – Christmas list anyone?
3. Princess satires
Finally, for all of you who bemoan the questionable love lessons and false expectations about life those Disney princesses planted in our minds, I haven’t forgotten you! Check out www.Cracked.com for more cartoons like these.
