Fresh Fruit Facemasks for Smooth Summer Skin

As our clothes begin to get less and less existent, and the sun begins to shine brighter and brighter, we all know it has finally arrived…. summer is here! Sadly the coming of summer also means our skin battled the bitter winter, and the summer sun leaves no girl wanting to worry about heavy makeup to cover up tired skin. But fear not: just take your pick of these few cheap and easy natural homemade remedies, and you will look like a fresh-faced natural beauty in a matter of minutes.
 
Biting into a delicious piece of fruit is a delicacy in itself but sometimes you just want to see those vitamins work their wonders fast. The good news is the nutritional benefits of vitamins and minerals are just as effective when applied topically.
 

Avocado Face Mask:
Avocado is known as a power fruit, great for everything from your blood and bones to your skin. It is also is a great and easy way to make a face mask at home! The vitamin A, E, B and K soak into the deepest layers of the skin, bringing freshness and moisture back to even the driest of faces.
 
Ingredients:
½ Soft Avocado
2 tbs Hot Water
1 tsp Honey
 
To prepare:
Mash up avocado with a fork until creamy. Dissolve the honey into the water and then mix into the fruit. Brush onto skin with either fingers or a brush and leave on for 10 minutes.
 

Egg Yolk Face Mask:
Eggs are known as a powerful way to start the day, but they can also be a powerful force for your skin. Egg yolk is full of vitamin A, a vitamin that will help bring back the natural glow to your skin. Try this Egg Face Mask recipe to brighten even the dullest of faces:
 
Ingredients:
1 Egg Yolk
1tsp Olive Oil
1tbs Honey
 
To Prepare:
Combine ingredients and smooth onto face for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
 

Banana and Yogurt Mask:
Bananas and Yogurt sound like the perfect pair for a scrumptious afternoon snack, but they are an even more powerful duo when applied to your skin. A banana’s nutrient-rich goodies help nourish the skin, while the yogurt’s lactic acid works to smooth and soften.
 
Ingredients:
½ Ripe Banana
1 tbs Honey
2 tbs Plain and Unsweetened Yogurt
 
To Prepare:
 
Mash banana in a bowl until creamy. Mix the plain unsweetened yogurt and blend well. Pour one tablespoon of the honey and mix all three ingredients together. Apply the mask to face for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse the mask of with cool water.
