Proudest moment at UVA?: I get my energy from the people around me and one of my proudest moments at UVa was last semester during Lighting of the Lawn when glow sticks were flying as the lights danced on the Rotunda. In that moment, we were all on the same page. Go Wahoos!Â
What work do you do with Camp Kesem?:Â I became involved with Camp Kesem my first-year and I’ve loved it since. Kesem in Hebrew means magic, which is what offers a ton of campers nationwide. It’s a free week long summer camp for kids (6 to 16) whose parents have or had cancer, where they can come to be a kid with other kids who can relate to them. And I get to help them by bringing out the large 5′ 10″ 200 lb. kid in me so it’s a win-win.
Â
What is a movie that best describes your life?: The Dark Knight Rises — I think the title really says it all.Â
Â
Do you consider yourself a romantic?: I’ve got plenty of date ideas, but I don’t have anyone to do them with. One day I’m gonna dress up and bring flowers to her house. When she asks why, I’ll tell her because it’s Wednesday.Â
Who would be your celebrity valentine?: I’m not really big on celebrities but shout out to the girl in Alderman that likes to study in the window.
Â
Something most people don’t know about you:Â I cry every time I yawn. It can really awkward when I’m holding hands for prayer. I yawn and when everyone opens there eyes they think I’ve been moved to pieces.
