1.   Anything Gilmore Girls– With the shows revival, it seems like everyone and their mother is talking about the show. Luckily, it seems that Amazon and a number of other online retailers got the message. If your wondering what to get someone, find a particular piece that matches their interests in the show! If they are Team Logan, get them something with “In Omnia Paratus” across it. Browse a little, and find whatever fits them best!
2.   Dress up a bottle– Pick up your friend’s favorite wine (or cider), and make it your own! The two of you can catch up while sharing the bottle, but whatever way you spice it up will make it more personal. Pinterest has a number of different ideas, but my personal favorite has to be this adorable chocolate pineapple. Nothing says Happy Holidays like wine and chocolate.Â
3.   Personalized stationary– We all have that one friend whose notes look like a work of art and who keeps a planner with their schedule down to the minute. They are what I like to call a Stationary Junkie. For the Stationary Junkie in your life, I recommend going on a website such as Shutterfly, or honestly googling personalized stationary. Pick out a nice notepad and pen in their favorite color with their name or monogram at the top. It show that you put some thought into their gift, and didn’t get them the same thing as everyone else in your life.
4.   Subscription services– This one really is the gift that keeps on giving. There are a million different subscription services online, such as Fun Fit Fab or itsy, that will send your special someone a box of goodies picked just for them every month. This one is a personal favorite, because rather than getting something once a year to let you know you’re loved, you get a gift every single month. Go online and find the one that best fits your friend or family member that you’re shopping for.
5.   LUSH EVERYTHING– Lean into the trend and invest in a nice bath bomb for your friend. I’ve never heard someone say they don’t like Lush products, because there is honestly something for everyone. Get a facemask that you and your roomie can do together on a rainy day, or a bath bomb for your study buddy who is always stressed out. At the very least, treat yourself to a day in a lush store, because that itself is sometimes better than the products.
6.   Your time– As college students, time really is the most valuable thing in your life. This semester especially, I’ve found it difficult to stay in contact with some of my friends. While it is a two way street, I should have done better and dedicated more time to those who care about me. This holiday season, plan a day that is all about that person who stands by you no matter what. Take them out to their favorite restaurant, create a cozy nest in your room and watch a bad rom com. Do what the two of you love together, and show them that they deserve your time, because they are more valuable.
