As a person who loves to cook, I am always looking for new and unique recipes to try out. I recently found myself in a bit of a cooking rut; making the same tried-and-true recipes every week left my favorite hobby in a pretty mundane state. I would normally turn to Pinterest or a traditional cookbook in such a case, but I opted for a new, and certainly eccentric, alternative this time: Tinder. Yes, I do mean that Tinder.

I figured who better to put an end to my rut than a bunch of amorous college boys. The process was pretty simple. All I had to do was make my bio “making a cookbook, send me recipes”, add good pictures of myself to my profile, swipe right on anyone who wasn’t creepy, and wait for the matches and messages to inevitably start flowing in. To no one’s surprise, only a small minority of the messages contributed anything substantial, but I did get a whole lot of laughs. That being said, may I present: my faves from The Tinder Cookbook.
