Hometown: Eagan, MN
Year in school: Senior
Major/Minor: Elementary Education and Special Education
Relationship status: Single
What is your favorite thing about La Crosse?
I really like the La Crosse community. There’s always something to do here. I love watching the bluffs change every season.
Biggest pet peeve:
I can’t stand when people try to erase with pencils when there’s no eraser left.
Who’s your biggest role model and inspiration?
My grandma. She was such a strong woman and went through a lot but always put others before herself regardless of the situation. She got her master’s degree in microbiology Bryn Mawr while raising five children. She also escaped from Poland when she was six. She was such an accepting person and I always strive to be like her.
Describe an ideal date:
My favorite date is going to a theme park. Hands down. I feel like you can really get to know each other at a theme park and there’s so much going on that it can distract from any awkwardness.
Describe yourself in three words:
Friendly, energetic, and weird.
Favorite food:
Classic breakfast food. Eggs, bacon, and hash browns. All mixed together.
What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?
Van Morrison and alt-j are two of my favorites. I really like oldies, 90s rap and boy bands, and older country, like Johnny Cash.
Favorite song to dance to at a party:
No Diggity by Black Street.
Do you have any pets?
Yes. Two cats. One is name Isaiah John and the other is names Louiston III, but I call him Louis.
What qualities do you find most attractive in a guy?
Humor, the want/need to change the world, and if they like superheroes that’s a plus.
What is the first thing you notice about a guy?
His smile.
What’s your go-to pick up line?
On a scale of one to America how free are you tonight? Or, is that something in your eye? Oh wait, it’s just a sparkle.
What is your dream job?
I want to teach children with special needs. I want to change the world.
What specifically do you hope to achieve as a teacher that will change the word?
I think that people with special needs should be given more opportunities in the classroom as well as in society and I want to make that a possibility. Children with special needs are quick to be sent out of the classroom when I think lessons could be altered to meet the needs of all students.
How does it feel to be featured as a campus cutie?
It feels pretty good. No complaints here.
