Thursday night there was an event in Valhalla-Cartwright Center called Lost Voices where a group of young activists who were on the frontline of marches in Ferguson, Missouri were able to tell their stories. Around 9pm, the Lost Voices led UW-La Crosse students in a protest of their own on the recent conceal and carry compromise. Everyone who was at the event and against this compromise stood up during the event and marched through campus to West Ave., blocking off all traffic chanting, “My life is not a compromise” and “No guns on our campus.”Â
