Simple Stress Relief Strategies

In the thick of midterms, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But stress can take a huge toll of physical and mental health and even your academic performance, so take a break and relieve some stress with some of these simple relaxation techniques. Even five minutes of any one of these activities may be the break you need to get back on track!

1. Take a short walk

2. Do some stretches

3. Talk to a friend

4. Watch a video makes you laugh

5. Call your family

6. Paint your nails

7. Take a warm shower

8. Exercise

9. Have a healthy snack

10. Switch it up and study something different

11. Take some deep breaths

12. Put on some comfortable clothes

13. Write in a journal

14. Move to a new study spot

15. Write down 5 good things that happened in your day or week
