1. Emma Watson is Belle.
There is no better actress that would have fit the role. Hello, Emma Watson is the perfect for this part.
2. It’s recreating our childhood.
All of us have grown up with Disney. If you didn’t…well, then catch up now. Anyway, Disney has done it again. They are basically handing our childhoods to us on silver platters. And who doesn’t need a break from school?
3. One of the fairytales where the girl saves the guy.
It’s not a damsel in distress this time, it’s the prince. And what does the damsel do? She saves him from himself, the monster that he was.
4. The CGI effects look awesome.
While the Beast isn’t the same guy-creature from before, he still has similar features. Plus, don’t you want to see how the plates dance around when Lumière welcomes Belle to her dinner?
5. The bromance between Cogsworth and Lumière.
There cannot be a scene where these two are not bickering. If you took out the love story, it would be Cogsworth saying, “Hey, don’t do the thing.” And Lumière already having done it. They cause most of the laughs, whether together or separate.
6. The musical numbers.
If you haven’t belted out “Be Our Guest” or hummed “Tale as Old as Time,” then you’re lying to yourself. The music was already amazing, so let’s see if it’s more so this time around.
7. Belle loves to read.
Any princess, or person in general, that promotes reading and learning is a 100 in my book. Read. Make your own fairytale.
8. The famous dance scene.
One of the most anticipated parts of the whole movie. Need I say more?
