Question after question… As you get older, the more questions are asked. People come up and ask you, “What are you actually going to do for the rest of your life?” Do you know the answer to this question? The majority of you would a) choose to ignore the question b) run away and hide or c) try and answer it to the best of your ability by describing some type of job description. Answer c is probably the most common answer or at least the answer I have been using lately.

College is hard but finding a job while you’re still in school is extremely overwhelming. Here are two helpful tips to help remain calm and find a “big girl job.”
1. LinkedIn
Go ahead and download LinkedIn on your phone, computer and pretty much every electronic device you own. LinkedIn is now your new best friend. I created myself a LinkedIn my sophomore year of college and use it like it is my Facebook page, except for the job searching of course. You can find jobs you are interested in by searching them and viewing their pages. The biggest part of LinkedIn is networking. You are able to see the companies your friends are working for and connect with the companies on LinkedIn. I am not an expert but I think LinkedIn is one of the best ways to find a job.

2. Job Fairs
I used to see “job fair” signs all around my campus. I chose to completely ignore those signs until I became a senior. Job fairs, especially on college campuses, happen very often. This is a very easy way to get started. Get your foot in the door and make yourself more confident about finding your dream job. Start looking for a job around your area. Meeting people in the workforce is going to help you. You might even find a job that you haven’t even heard of before and become interested.
