Cute Couple on Campus Shares Their Story

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UWindsor chapter.

While we usually interview one campus cutie, this adorable couple on campus deserved some attention.  Gabrielle Rohit and Nick Brown met this year at the university as friends, and are now going strong as a couple.  Read about their story below:

1. How did you two meet?
We met at the croc, I (Gabbie) said something awkward, Nick looked over, and I introduced myself. We talked, and we found out that we were in the same residence building.

2. How long have you been together?  How long have you known each other?
We’ve been together for a month and a half. We’ve known each other since frosh week [in September].

3. What attracted you to each other?
We have a lot of things in common. We like watching the same tv shows, food, music.

4. What do you like doing together?
Watching movies and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, ordering food, staying in or going out. Whatever [we’re doing], it doesn’t matter — as long as we’re together.

5. How do you balance your academics, extracurriculars, and social life with your relationship?
We go on a lot of study dates; we study together all the time. We spend a lot of hours in Leddy library.

6. What do each of you want to do with your future?
Nick: I want to work in finance for an aviation company.
Gabbie: I want to be a news anchor.

7. What is your favourite on-campus date?
We either stay in Cartier and order food, or go to the croc.

8. What surprised you the most about each other?
How different we are but, [that we] still have a lot in common.

9. What is your favourite thing about one another?
Nick: I don’t know, there are so many things about her – mostly how understanding she is.

Gabbie: His smile and how sweet he is.
