Beer in red solo cups is fun, but it’s nice to treat yourself and your friends to something fancier. Here are several fall-themed cocktails you can make whether you’re feeling elaborate or simple. Enjoy!
1) Caramel Apple Mimosas
Directions:
1) In a small dish, pour 2 tbsp. caramel sauce. In another dish, pour 2 tbsp. cinnamon sugar. Dip champagne flutes into caramel to rim glass, then dip in cinnamon sugar.
2) Pour 1 cup apple cider, 8 oz. caramel vodka, and top with champagne into flutes.
3) Garnish with an apple slice and serve.
2) Cranberry Sauce Margarita
Directions:
1) Rim a margarita glass with brown sugar.
2) Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, 2 oz. tequila, the juice of one lime, 1 – ½ tbsp. chunky cranberry sauce, and 1 tsp. honey.
3) Shake, then strain mixture into glass.
4) Option: add some fresh or frozen cranberries.
3) Leftover Pecan Pie Bourbon Shake
Directions:
1) In a blender, combine 3 scoops vanilla ice cream, ½ cup milk, 2 oz. bourbon, and ½ cup chopped pecan pie.
2) Blend until desired consistency. Add more milk if mixture is too thick, add more ice cream if it is too thin.
3) Pour into a glass and garnish with more pecan pie.
4) Crown Royal and Ginger
Directions:
1) Add 1 oz. Crown Royal Deluxe and 3 oz. ginger ale to an ice-filled glass.
2) Garnish with a lime wedge.
5) Cinnamon Toast
Directions:
1) Rim a glass with sugar and cinnamon.
2) Add 6 oz. hot apple cider and 1 ¼ oz. Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum to a glass.
6) Candy Corn Martini
Directions:
1) Make the candy corn vodka first: add 1/3 cup candy corn to 1 cup plain or vanilla vodka. Refrigerate for 3 hours. Once refrigerated, pour through a strainer and discard the solids.
2) Add a handful of ice to a martini shaker. Add the vodka, 3 oz. pineapple juice, 2 oz. ginger ale, and 1 oz. butterscotch schnapps. Cover and shake well. Pour into 2 martini glasses. Add more candy corn to the bottom of each glass.
