Hectic doesn’t even cover a day in the life of Jessie Choinoski. Full-time student, Intern, Campus worker, Philanthropist and writer. Some would even say super woman. With a bright future ahead of her and a planner mentality, Jessie has her eyes set on the east coast. Where the publishing houses are plentiful, and the Magazines are thriving.
For as long as she can remember, Jessie has wanted to move to the East coast. “I swear I was born in the wrong state”. After traveling to Boston three times and exploring other East Coat cities, Jessie is basically a local AND already has her favorite neighborhoods chosen so when the time comes to move… she’s prepared. You need travel recommendations? She’s your girl! Once her heart discovered the beautiful streets of Boston and that’s been the goal ever since. Jessie has decided to gain some PR and management experience in Milwaukee to build up her resume and references (smart move, especially in todays competitive job market) before making the BIG move. Saving money and spending some quality time with her family for a year or two is also exactly what she needs before the future Editor-In-Chief puts down roots in Boston.
As an English Major with a focus in critical analysis and cultural theory, Jessie plans to explore every career path publishing and writing has to offer. Two career paths she’d like to explore would be working at an Publishing house assisting the next JK Rowling with her next best seller or being in the faced paced life of Magazine editing while writing her own relationship column.
Catch Jessie on campus writing for the UWM under her relationship column or covering her next Her Campus article. This busy bee won’t be on campus much longer due to her May graduation, but I have a feeling this won’t be the last time you hear about Jessie Choinoski. Next time there will be an ‘Editor-In-Chief’ in front of her name!
