Here is what you need:

A medium sauce pan

1 ¼ cup of Chocolate or Natural cocoa

1/3 cup hot water

½ cup Sugar

1/8 tsp Salt

4 cups of Milk

1 tsp Vanilla extract (peppermint or raspberry extract)

Directions:

  1. Heat medium sauce pan. Combine the cocoa/ chocolate, sugar, water, and salt in pan and stir in gently.

  2. Over medium heat, continue to stir constantly until the ingredients begin to boil.

  3. Add milk to the mixture. Stir in, but be sure not to boil.

  4. Turn off stove and remove pan from the stove. Add in the extract of your choice. Stir evenly, serve and enjoy!

Don’t forget the whipped cream and marshmallows, because what’s hot chocolate without whipped cream? HCXO!
