You’re sure to meet these types of girls while you’re in college whether you had planned to or not.
1. The Party Girl
This girl isn’t necessarily always a bad friend to have. She knows how to have a good time and after a rough week of tests and quizzes she knows how to lighten the mood and celebrate. Although she’s a good friend, try to limit your time with her. Partying too much can put your responsibilities on the backburner and those should come first.
2. The One-Upper
We have all met this girl before and even though she probably doesn’t have bad intentions it’s hard to mention anything around her. This type of girl is set on one upping you at any and everything. If you got a “B” in a class, she’ll probably say she got an “A” in a class… 4 years ago in high school, but she still got an “A”.
3. The “I Only Talk to You When My Boyfriend Has Other Plans” Girl
You’ll probably invite this girl to hangout and have fun with you and your friends all the time and she’ll more than likely cancel all the time. She hangs out with her boyfriend 24/7, 365, but as soon as they get in an argument she is down to party. Do yourself a favor and don’t expect much from this friend. If it isn’t boyfriend approved or boyfriend allowed she probably won’t be part of the festivities.
4. The Fashionista
She can’t do anything without planning her outfit a whole week in advance and most of her clothes in her closet still have price tags on them. You love her fashion, but don’t try and keep up with her because being a fashionista comes at a price and 10 pairs of the same jean aren’t all that important.
5. The “My Parents Never Taught Me How to Live On My Own” Girl
You can expect random calls during the day and night from this girl. She needs to know how to wash clothes, how to boil an egg and what is she supposed to do when the toilet backs up. The amount of calls you’ll receive will be funny in the beginning but then you’ll wonder how she ever survived this far in life. She’ll make you thankful that you had chores growing up!
6. The “Where Have You Been My Entire Life, We’re The Same Person” Girl
This is your college BFF. You’re trying to figure out why you guys didn’t meet sooner in life because you would have so many more stories to tell. She gives you advice on boys, clothes, your hair, all the way down to your nail color. Even though you guys are a lot alike you have oppositions about certain things and that’s okay. At the end of the day she’s your partner in crime and you know you can count on her.
College is all about meeting new people and whether you meet all of these people individually or they come as a combination, there’s a good chance they are going to pop up in your life.
HCXO!
