Afropunk Atlanta: 4 Vendors You Should Know

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Valdosta chapter.

Afropunk is a festival celebrating black music, art, fashion and culture. I had the pleasure of attending Afropunk Atlanta this past weekend. As part of the festival, Afropunk hosted the SpinThrift market, which showcased some of the best DIY-minded vendors Atlanta has to offer. Here are a few of the many talented vendors who brought their talents to Afropunk Atlanta this year!

Dopeciety

Dopeciety brand offers womens and mens apparel, art, and bags, all with an artistically Afrocentric flair. All the designs are custom made by the designer. You can check out their new collection and purchase merchandise here. Follow the brand on Instagram and Twitter @dopeciety.

Limba Gal Jewelry

Limba Gal combines natural materials with modern styles to create one of a kind pieces of jewelry. They offer unique necklaces, earrings, bracelets, anklets, rings, and much more. Every single piece is made by hand! Check out the online store here, and follow the brand on Instagram @limbagal.

Fanta Celah Creations

Fanta Celah creates jewelry that’s just as unique as she is! Chunky, colorful stones and twisted metal really make her pieces stand out. Her jewelry is available here, and you can follow her on instagram @fantacelah to see more of her jewelry, art, and her amazing hair!

ReformedSchool

ReformedSchool’s “I Am A Man” and “Ain’t I A Woman?” merchandise was a crowd favorite at Afropunk Atlanta this year. In addition to custom shirts, sweatshirts, and jackets, the brand also makes unique bow ties. You can check out all their merchandise here, and don’t forget to follow them on Instagram @reformedschool.
