Campus Celebrity Sequan Brown ’16

What organizations are you involved in at VSU? Urban Demand media marketing group 
 
 
HC: What made you decide to DJ? 
 
SB: Ive always loved music, I was exposed to it at a very young age. I also have many people in my family that are connected in the music industry in some form or another. So, with my love of music djing came natural.
 
HC: When/how did you discover this talent?
 
SB: My junior year of high school. I was always that person everybody handed the aux cord to in the car. 
 
HC: What do you want to do with your major? What’s your dream job?
 
SB: I planned on going to law school with a, focus on Sports and Entertainment Law but my dream job is to be a A&R for a record label. 
 
HC: How do you feel about what you’ve accomplished so far?  
 
SB: I feel like I haven’t reached my peak yet, but I’m proud to have made it as far I have. Being a KCamp linkup DJ and being recognized by a lot of people for how much fun they have in the club or how I’m their favorite DJ makes me want to work even harder, and really devolpe my craft.

SB: WKBS Urban Hip Hop Radio(New York)
 
 
HC: Who or what inspires you the most?
 
SB: My father would have to be my biggest inspiration, seeing him come from nothing and now owning several companies and being a national director in corporate America, lets me know that if you work hard anything is possible 
 
HC: What do you plan on pursuing after you graduate?  
 
SB: My DJ career and hopefully a radio show.
 
HC: Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
 
SB: Owning my own record label and marketing farm. 
 
HC: How do you practice time management? 
 
SB: I just keep myself organized , and try not to put to much unnecessary things on my plate.
