HC: Hey Jacinda! How did you end up here at VSU?
Jacinda: I came down here for a visit for recruitment to be on the cross country team. I chose VSU after I fell in love with the campus, the weather, and…everything else! I also loved the fact that I would be able to continue doing what I love in a competitive D2 conference.
HC: What are some of your favorite things to do? What is a typical Saturday night like for you?
Jacinda: I love working out, shopping, getting my nails done, running, spending time with my friends, and eating. I usually spend an average Saturday night with the girls. It varies every weekend really…it could be a night spent in or a night out.
HC: If your Satruday night included date night, what would the “perfect” date be?
Jacinda: My perfect date would just be a day filled with events! My perfect date would probably be a carnival date or either a picnic with a movie. I would just like to do something outside and something where we would have a chance to talk and laugh.
HC: What is your biggest pet peeve on a date? Is there anything that someone should NEVER do on a date?
Jacinda: Probably someone being on their phone while I am with them. Don’t bombard the other person with weird questions.
HC: What’s your favorite question to ask on a date?
Jacinda: What is your favorite quote and why?
HC: Many people want to know what you’re doing with your life on a first date. Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Jacinda: I will be 28 so hopefully done with school, working in a private practice, dating or engaged, etc.
HC: Even though you’re taken, I must ask – what are the three top traits you look for in a significant other?
Jacinda: The top three traits I look for in a significant other would include someone who makes me laugh and smile and who I feel comfortable with, intelligence, and probably someone who is an active person.
HC: To leave us, what is your best piece of relationship advice?
Jacinda: Communication is key.
That’s the sweet and sporty Jacinda! Look forward to home races next season for the cross country team to go and cheer her on. HCXO!
