Meet Sabré! He’s the guy with a very familiar face but a hidden treasure of a personality! Get to know him more below as one of this week’s Campus Cuties!
Name: Sabré Sims
Age: 21
Hometown: Fayetteville, GA
Classification: Senior
Major: Philosophy of Religion with a minor in African American Studies
Zodiac Sign: Gemini
Relationship Status: Single
HC: What made you choose to attend VSU?
Sabré: Honestly, it was the first school that I got into. I got into Southern too, but since VSU was the first one, I was like why not? As the first male in my family to really go to college, I just went with my first option because I was so excited.
HC: What do you like to do in your spare time?
Sabré: I used to have lots of spare time but now I don’t have too much of it. When I do though, I like to shoot pool, play cards, and read from time to time. I’m just so busy with school, working 2 jobs & staying active in my fraternity that I barely have spare time.
HC: How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Sabré: Humble, funny, and intelligent.
HC: What do you plan to do with your degree?
Sabré: I actually want to teach at the collegiate level. I would like to teach a little of both Religious Studies and African American Studies.
HC: As far as ladies go, what are some turn-ons?
Sabré: I like funny girls. A woman that can make me laugh. I love intelligent women too. And, I like women with a good taste in music. If I like her music and I usually wouldn’t listen to it, that’s a big turn-on!
HC: What about a woman would be a turn-off?
Sabré: I don’t like girls who are conceited. I respect a certain level of humility.
HC: Who is your celebrity crush?
Sabré: I don’t really idolize too many celebrities so, maybe Paula Patton. She’s fine!
HC: What is your idea of a perfect date?
Sabré: It depends on the girl. But, I’m a simple guy. I’d want to go out to a nice restaurant, depending on what kind of food I have the taste for. Somewhere with seafood for me. Maybe even a Jazz bar. Then, we could go out to the movies. I love watching movies.
HC: What’s your favorite action/thriller movie?
Sabré: Training Day
HC: What do you consider most important when in a relationship?
Sabré: Communication, faith, and trust are most important to me.
HC: What’s a quote that you strive to live by?
Sabré: It’s a Ralph Waldo Emerson quote: “What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you.”
HC: What are three things you cannot imagine life without?
Sabré: Family/friends, my car, and my studies!
HC: Leave us with one last fun fact.
Sabré: I lived in England for a year as a child.
