Foods That Can Make You Happier

Whether you knew it or not, the foods you eat can really change your mood. Better choices can give you more positive result over eating fried foods that make you sick and sluggish. Treat your body with some foods that will also make you happier!

1. Chocolate: Chocolate is the favorite treat of many, and with good reason! Chemicals in chocolate are stress relieving. It releases seratonin in our brains which also makes it known as the “love drug.”

2. Bok Choy: This green leafy vegetable is used in a lot of Chinese dishes and just looks like kale or collard greens. Known as the Chinese “cabbage” studies have found that the vegetable also has PMS relieveing symptoms!

3. Coffee: It’s full of caffeine and gives our body a boost of dopamine every time we drink it. There have been plenty of studies showing coffee having effects of stimulating brain activity so that you can see clearer and be on your toes throughout the day.

 

4. Mushrooms: This vegetable is known to boost your mood and fight depression, anxiety, and fatigue. Scientists have found mushrooms to be theraputic for people who want to try organic remedies. You don’t have to eat a lot to reap the benefits from them either because they are rich in Vitamin B. Try out some different recipes with mushrooms or chop them up or add them to a rice bowl or an omelette!
