Hello, beautiful humans of the world!

L. O. V. E. Four letters that some bask in and others are afraid to even utter. Have you ever thought about the TRUE meaning of love? Have you ever experienced love in all its glory? Have you witnessed love in its purest form?

The definition of love is “the intense feeling or affection for someone”. This definition basically describes how one feels toward another. Growing up and looking at the older adults around me I can see why that definition is so fitting. The one thing that I would add to this definition to make it perfect is that it is not only a feeling it is an emotion and action. It is an emotion and action that we all feel and do whether it is strictly platonic or even romantic. Another thing, Love is not just buying things and saying it. It is more than that.

What’s my definition you ask? To me, love is being there for the person you have feelings for. It is letting them know that you are there with them through thick and thin. That no matter what the world hits you both with, you both have each other to lean on. To me, love is when you look that person in the face and you see nothing but them. The world around you has disappeared and it is only you two standing there. It is when you still get butterflies when you see that special someone and you can’t help but smile and blush around them. What is your definition of LOVE?
