Game Day.
It’s game day. You wake up in the morning, go for a jog around Centennial-Park, and race back to your dorm to prepare for the best day of the week- tailgate Saturday. Sorority sisters race to their houses to grab highly coveted “sorority stickers” as gifts for their favorite frat boys. Girls gather in their rooms, blasting “We Can’t Stop,” while piecing together the perfect outfit for the day.
Southern tailgates are more than events, but traditions. We put on our best sundresses and cowboy boots, anticipating the moment we can run through frat row to our favorite houses. Tailgates are the beginning of a tradition that truly makes Vanderbilt home.
Home is Home.
This weekend is Homecoming, a gathering of students, alumni, parents, and teachers all united in their love for Vanderbilt. Tents cover Alumni Lawn to welcome back past students and bring entire classes together yet again. This weekend, they’ll carry on the lifelong tradition of tailgating with all of us. Vanderbilt will always be home.
Mix it Up x JUDITH MARCH
But game day is not the only day to rep your favorite team. Judith March has designed a collection of game day tanks that are perfect for everyday wear. I LOVE the VANDY Rock & Roll Cow Girl tank. I pair it with gold leggings and a leather jacket to rep the Commodores every day of the week.
