Don’t know what to get your friends for Christmas? More importantly, don’t have the money to buy all of your friends presents? I’ve compiled a list of the cutest Christmas gift ideas that won’t burn a whole through your wallet! Plus, handmade gifts are always so much more special and meaningful, especially during this time of the year! Isn’t that what gift-giving is all about?
Hot Cocoa Mix Ornaments
This is my absolute favorite Christmas DIY present! Use whatever type of cocoa you want and layer it with yummy treats like mini marshmallows, chocolate chips and sprinkles! After finishing the hot chocolate, you’re left with an adorable ornament to add to your Christmas tree.

Candy Cane Sleigh
Who doesn’t love chocolate? These holiday-decorated sweets are available almost anywhere around this time of the year. All it takes to make these candy cane sleighs are mini chocolates, candy canes, ribbon and a hot glue gun! Don’t forget to add Santa on the sleigh!

Chocolate Dipping Spoons
Dip plastic spoons in melted chips (chocolate, peanut butter, etc.), decorate them with crushed peppermint, coconut flakes and marshmallows (or whatever else you want), and stick them in the fridge for 15-20 minutes. It’s as easy as that! They’re now ready to be served with hot chocolate or even a warm glass of milk.

Santa/Reindeer Hot Chocolate Cones
Your pick – Santa or Rudolph or why not both! Stick some hot cocoa powder, marshmallows and red candies if you’re making Santa, in a cone-shaped bag. Don’t forget the googly eyes, the red pompoms for Rudolph’s nose, little brown pipecleaners for his antlers and white cotton balls for Santa’s hat!

DIY Snow Globe
Though this DIY may look complicated, it’s actually super easy! Hot glue a winter-themed figurine on the lid of a jar, add water and some glycerin to make the water thicker, throw in some glitter, and you have your very own snow globe!

Christmas Sharpie Mugs
I actually tried this DIY myself and I love it! It’s a definitely a sweet and simple gift idea. Personalize your white mug with any color Sharpie marker, stick it in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes (make sure to put the mugs in BEFORE the oven heats up) and wait for it to cool! Add a bag of hot chocolate and a candy cane in it for the perfect holiday gift!

Rudolph Candy Canes
How cute are these Rudolph candy canes? It’s as easy as it looks! Candy canes are a favorite during the holiday season and they’re cheap! Buy a pack of candy canes, glue on some googly eyes, a red pompom nose and wrap some brown pipe cleaners on its head for antlers. That’s all it takes!
